Sunday March 14, 2021 was a great day for music, as the 63rd annual Grammy Awards took place. After live music came to a screeching halt in 2020, The Grammys marked one of the first music award shows in 2021 where all of the artists and personnel weren’t remote. Getting to see the cutting edge of pop music is always exciting, it was even better to see things mark another step back towards normalcy. This year, there were great performances from artists such as Dua Lipa, Megan thee Stallion, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and much more.
While getting to see artists build a legacy is thrilling, the overall spectacle never ceases to amaze. From the outfits, stage setup, choreography (we can go on quite a while). Needless to say, this year did not disappoint us whatsoever. Dua Lipa took over the show with her future nostalgic set, Harry Styles and his much-discussed boa also made a loud appearance. Seeing the biggest artists team up to succeed was quite an event, as Beyonce and Megan Thee Stallion took home a Grammy for ‘Savage’. Alongside that, the Grammys this year made a point to celebrate BIPOC. Megan thee Stallion won best new artist which we believe is greatly deserved. We are so excited about live performances returning and seeing more of our favorite artists this summer in person.
